Common questions
A few things people usually ask.
If your question isn't here, just ask — there's no such thing as a silly one.
Is this therapy?
No. I'm not a licensed therapist, and this isn't a substitute for mental health treatment. Think of it more as a thinking partner — someone who listens closely and asks good questions, so you can find your own way through. If what you're carrying needs more than that, I'll say so honestly and help you find the right kind of support.
What if I don't know what to say?
There's no script, and no wrong way to start. Some people come in with a lot to say; others just know something feels off and aren't sure why yet. Either is completely fine — that's actually what the first conversation is for.
How much does this cost?
The first conversation is always free, no strings attached. If it feels like a good fit afterward, we'll talk through what working together looks like — there's no pressure either way.
What happens after the free call?
If it feels right to both of us, I'll send you a short agreement to sign and a quick intake so I know a little about you. Then we'll get your first real session on the calendar. Nothing about any of it is homework.
Is this confidential?
Yes. What you share with me stays between us. The only exceptions are the ones required by law and basic safety — those are spelled out clearly in the agreement before you ever sign anything.
