See what you already do well, and find the words to say it.
For working parents, caregivers, and professionals who are doing more than anyone sees. Together we look at real things you have done, name the strengths in them, and find words you can share with your leader.
Not therapy. Not coaching. Just someone who listens like it matters.
I don’t have it all figured out either.
I’ve been translating for my parents since I was five, so I’ve known how to move between two sides my whole life. Professionally, it’s no different. It’s what I’ve done since I started as an AmeriCorps VISTA, and it’s what I love: solving problems and building things with people. With Brimful, I translate for you, helping turn your real experiences into words your leader can hear.
I’m not a therapist or a certified coach, and I don’t pretend to be. I’m a thought partner. You bring the experiences, I bring good questions and a careful ear, and you stay in the pilot seat the whole time.
This is
- A conversation about things you have actually done
- A way to name your strengths in your own words
- Help finding language to share with your leader
- Flexible: one conversation or several, your pace
This isn’t
- Therapy, counseling, or mental health care
- Certified coaching
- A promise of a promotion, raise, or any particular result
- A long contract or a fixed program
We start with what happened, not with a checklist.
Together we lay a real experience out on a simple journey map: what was happening, what you did, how it felt, what went well, what was hard. Strengths show up along the way, and we write them down in your words.
Six ideas, one at a time
Each conversation focuses on one idea. Nothing to cram. You try the rest on your own, in small ways.
Built on ideas from experiential learning, strengths research, and social-emotional learning.
Who this is for
Working parents juggling a full second job at home.
Caregivers whose skills never show up on a performance review.
Women of color and people from marginalized communities who move between worlds every day, and whose strengths are easy to overlook.
Professionals who suspect their leader doesn’t see everything they do, at work and outside it.
Everyone is welcome here.
You’ve learned to switch. Let’s find the voice underneath.
Many of us learned early to adjust how we speak and show up so we could fit in, at school, at work, and in rooms that weren’t built with us in mind. That’s a real skill. It can also make it harder to talk about yourself in your own words, because you’ve gotten so good at saying what sounds right.
Here, we start with what actually happened and how you would tell it. Then you decide what you want to share with your leader, and how. Switching isn’t a flaw, and you don’t have to stop. The goal is that it’s your choice.
How it works
Book one conversation or several. You can stop at any time.

Questions you might have
Why this? What is a thought partner?
A thought partner listens closely while you talk through something real, and helps you hear what you already do well. Then we find the words to say it. It isn’t therapy and it isn’t coaching. I won’t diagnose, treat, or tell you what to do. You stay in the pilot seat.
Why me?
I’ve been translating between two sides since I was five, helping my parents make sense of the world around them. Professionally it’s no different: I listen, I notice what matters, and I help people say it clearly. I’m not a therapist or a certified coach, and I don’t pretend to be.
What does it cost?
The 15-minute hello is free, so you can see if we fit before paying anything. A 45-minute first conversation is $40. If you want to build your Journey Map together, that’s a 60-minute session for $75. I open a limited number of spots each month, and I’ll always show you the price before you book. If you need to move or cancel, let me know at least 24 hours ahead and there’s no charge. If it’s closer than that, tell me what happened and we’ll work it out.
How does scheduling work?
Pick a time that fits your life using the “Book a time” button. You’ll see open times in your own time zone, and you’ll get a video link by email. Prefer to write first? Use the form below. You can book one conversation or several, and you can stop at any time. After your 15-minute hello, you can book your 45-minute first conversation on the same calendar.
What do you need from me?
Just honesty and curiosity. Come with one real experience in mind, from work or outside it. You don’t need to prepare, and you don’t need the right words. Finding them is what we do together. Share only what you’re comfortable sharing, and you can skip anything.
How much time will this take?
As much or as little as works for you. The hello is 15 minutes, a first conversation is 45, and a journey mapping session is 60. Between conversations, I may suggest one small thing to try on your own, and it’s always optional.
